Sanje Widyaratne is a successful entrepreneur with his career first starting as an engineer in Aerospace and Semiconductor industries.

Sanje has over 20 years of business leadership experience as a Chairman and CEO in technology and agriculture sectors.As a Director, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of global business development and strategic direction to IronOne.

Sanje is at present the Chairman and CEO of Walters Bay, a direct-from-origin tea company that serves global markets.

Lakmini Wijesundera has over 20 years of experience in technology management and global growth strategies. As the Founder and Executive Director of Ironone Technologies, she has been the driving force behind Ironone’s innovations and successful global expansion. Her present role is to steer and provide guidance to Ironone Technologies and its growth trajectory.

Lakmini has been the recipient of several prestigious industry recognition awards such as being the first Sri Lankan to become a EY Entrepreneurial Winning Woman 2017, the overall winner of the SAARC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2019, the winner of the Female Exporter of the year 2017 awarded by the National Chamber of Commerce NCE in 2017, the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016, Exporter of the Year and the Gold Award in the large category awarded by the Women’s Chamber of Industry & Commerce, the winner of Women in Management IT Leader of the year in 2016, the winner of the Top50 business and career women 2023 ‘Role model of the year’, multiple Stevie Awards for innovation and business management in 2018, the winner of the female ICT Leader of the year 2014 awarded by Computer Society of Sri Lanka ( CSSL) and has been selected to the 50 most powerful women in business awarded by the Echelon Magazine in 2014.

Lakmini also holds the Executive Director role in BoardPAC which is a leading Enterprise SaaS company in Board Governance and Sustainability, having offices in USA, Sri Lanka, South Africa, India, Singapore and Malaysia.

Lakmini also champions and supports the key entrepreneurial startup mentoring programs such as ICTA’s Spiralation program, Slasscom’s PPC, CIMA among others. She is an active member of the National AI Committee of Sri Lanka, Lakmini has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering from the University College London, University of London and has a M.Sc. from Imperial College, University of London, United Kingdom.

Yasantha is a seasoned technologist and scientist with over 30 years of experience in Silicon Valley’s high-tech sector. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at IronOne Technologies, he brings deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, software systems.

Yasantha holds a Phd in Applied Physics from Caltech and a BSE in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Princeton University.

Throughout his career, Yasantha has held prominent leadership roles at industry giants such as MediaTek and Broadcom, leading elite teams in building groundbreaking software and hardware products. His technical prowess spans a wide range of domains, including mmWave radar, speech recognition, and medical imaging, underpinned by a strong foundation in mathematics and algorithm design.

Yasantha is a prolific inventor with 131 patents (granted and pending) covering AI/ML, WiFi, satellite communication, video technologies, and DSL. His current research focuses on low-power AI architecture and algorithms for analog hardware accelerators.

Known for his strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and ability to lead high-performing teams, Yasantha remains deeply committed to advancing the frontiers of AI and technology.

Tim Kipley brings more than 30 years of experience in sensor technology, wireless communications, and consulting on AI/ML solutions. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles in both technology development and customer strategy, including serving as Chief Customer Officer at Everynet, where he helped shape global communication infrastructure and drive customer success.

At IronOne AI Labs, Tim leads as Chief Customer Officer, guiding the company’s vision, growth, and partnerships. He focuses on bridging advanced AI research with practical business applications, helping organizations adopt innovation in a way that delivers measurable impact.

Tim holds a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT. Known for his deep expertise in wireless communication and forward-looking approach to technology, he continues to play a key role in positioning IronOne AI Labs as a trusted partner in AI-driven transformation.

Manori is an experienced technology sales & market leader, with over 20+ years of experience in the field of Information Technology. She has held senior leadership positions in three global technology giants, as Country Sales Manager in Sri Lanka for SAP India (Pvt) Ltd., Head of Software Sales, and Head of Marketing, at IBM World Trade Corporation, Sri Lanka, and as Regional Sales Manager for Oracle Corporation, responsible for ASEAN Region. She was also Head of Sales and Marketing at Just-In-Time Holdings, a renowned Sri Lankan Systems Integrator.

Manori served as the Sri Lankan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Germany with concurrent accreditation to Switzerland, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. She has served on the Boards of the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT).

Manori currently serves as an Ambassador to Asia Berlin Forum, an initiative by the Berlin Senate to support Asian tech startups to access the German market.
